This Derby starts at 2:00pm. This means that derby cars must be ready to enter the tech booth no later than 12:00pm. This is a NAPA Auto Parts Crash for Cash Qualifying Derby.

The pits open at 10:00AM, be sure to get there early as there will be a downtown parade starting at 11:00 and may make it difficult to reach the pits in time to be teched before the derby. We are expecting a lot of cars at this derby to kick off the 2009 NAPA Auto Parts Crash for Cash Series!!

The erin fairboard does not have the new fairgrounds ready yet.I went over there and looked at were the derby will be held and the pit area is small. If we have a large car count we will have to work out some problems
with parking the cars and trailers.I just wanted to give yall a heads up on the pits. Like i said if we have a large car count we can exspect some parking problems, But the fairboard said they will do all they can to make this problem as easy as they can. THANKS MIKE

This was a excellent derby with 50 cars. One of the hardest hitting
derbys i seen in a while. Thanks to all the drivers for there sportsmanship.
When you put the best drivers in this area together this is the kind of derby you get!!

What a way to start the year. The stands were full and they got the best show in the south. I had tons of fans comment on how professional the drivers were and the
hand shaking after the derby shows that. If this derby is anything of whats to come 2009 will by far be the best yet!!!! THANKS MIKE
