I just wanted to ask what we have to got to do to get mike and his guys to start flaging at these qualifiers when they are also running a compact class. I realize mike and his guys have there hands full with full size and those guys really have saved derby especially the full size but everyone i haved talked to has said mayfield compacts were a joke. When you are given a stick prior to your heat that is the only stick you get unless it is broken in action during a heat or you are given one before the consi so it doesnt matter for whatever reason even if the officals stop the derby and there are still cars left and you break your stick you are out the officals should not be allowed to give that car another stick. And it may just be me but to my knowledge if the officals stop a derby and make you shut your engine off you are not allowed to get out and lift the hood and work on your motor in order to restart. I think that when a compact derby is to be run as a stock derby all drivers should be allowed to look over each others cars during tech as long as the do not touch anything so everyone knows the cars are stock there should be no metal added if you have to add metal to make it to the derby then get another car for that derby then was not a well organized event for our class anyway but the full size was handled well. I think compacts should be given the same chance to run as full size cars are even though we dont have any type of qualifying series. And once the ambulance had to leave and our heat was stoped that was not our fault why would you want to stop our heat before its over just so the full size can run thats the way derby is sometimes it happens just the opposite with us we have to wait on full size were all derby drivers and i we understand this stuff happens I also wanted to say i talked to Dustin Swayne last night and he is a genuine good guy and really cares about this sport and even wants the compacts to have there chance to run eventhough he has nothing to do with them it was a pleasure to meet him.. I also wondered why we waited for all the full size drivers to go on the track and be announced at the begining why were compact drivers not announced we are all apart of that show as well im not taking anything away from the full size guys i know they really have alot of time and money in there cars and put on a great show but we should have some kind of credit instead of just being a side show compacts have been around long enough to earn that....so everyone let me know what you think.. Congrats to Wes Gargus #22 for the full size win.. Josh Kee # k42 for his win in compacts as well as Kelly Harper #13 for the win in the mowers.......

I understand what you are saying , But With All The Points And Who qualifys
the full size is all we can handle now. I stoped runing small cars about 3 years
ago and if there is a small car derby at the place that we are running a qualifying
derby it is not part of our show .The small car derby at mayfield was not part of my derby it was the fair and being ran by david sullivan. If i had enough tech guys and enough cars that would follow us we might think about having a small car series. I hope you understand that one class is all we can handle now,Its not that i have a problem with the small cars or there drivers. THANKS MIKE

Yeah Mike we understand where your coming from we dont mind to much about who techs because all the drivers can be there and tech one anothers cars with who ever is ruled to official over that but we would love to see just you and your guys flaging our class if its ever possible because all the drama would stop since your guys probably have no idea who half of us drivers are in the small cars.. but i appreciate your reply and we all agree you have done great things for this sport because the local full size was about dead till you started this series.. just about like our class is dying now..until we can get a steady set of rules and some impartial officials to take over our class i guess well have to keep fighting for it...
