Would there but much interest in being able to buy a fresh rebuilt SBC engine? I could build one for $2500 fresh from top to bottom. New alumn intake, rebuilt 487/441 heads with stainless valves, new springs, bronze guides, 3 angle valve job, new hyd cam & lifters, double roller timing chain set, new hyperteutic pistons, rebuilt rods with ARP bolts, fresh crank, new balancer. You get the idea i think of what you would get.

No one have any thoughts on this? I'm not looking for a buyer before I build the engine, just trying to see if there could be a market if it was available.

Thought that I would build an engine to have ready and bring to some of the shows to have for sale if there was enough interest in being able to buy an engine. This is not a junk rebuild. It will be aprox. a 300 hp engine. Here is a pic of a engine I built that would be of a higher caliber than what the engine I am thinking of building. If some one wanted an engine like this, I could do one of them on a order only basis.

An engine like the one pictured could cost around $7500.
