Ok these are strickly mine, and a few fans, and a few drivers opinions.. I've talked it over with ALOT of people and decided since no one else is stepping up the plate and taking a swing at getting the word out.. That I would, I've always been outspoken, and pretty much say what I think and feel. I've bit my tongue LONG enough on some stuff.. Soo here goes, and a few are gonna get their undies in a wad, but at this point in the game, I could careless..

First I'll go with Rules...

Now tell me if i'm wrong but wouldn't it make more sense to have ONE set of rules all year long that your going to use for the 5k derby too.. INSTEAD of letting stuff go all year (for certian drivers) that you won't allow in the 5k if your wanting to be "tough" on the drivers and how they build their cars, and don't want them building in the "grey area".. Don't let them get away with it during the other derbies.. Some people push the rules all year long, to build their cars stronger and better and make them last longer, and then they take the exact same car, or one they built the same way they did all year long to the big derby and get turned away.. Now here's my thoughts on why it's easier to turn someone away at the 5k derby than the normal derbies.. It's simple really.. They've gotten all the money they can outta the drivers by the time the big show rolls around, and all their getting outta that is sponser money and the money from the fans.... So what if they have to turn a car away their not making any money off that car anyway... So it don't really matter, but at the other derbies, if they turn a car away....well theres 35 bucks they lost right there, everything boils down to money it's just how people are, and honestly, no matter who was doing it... They would the same way. It's just how the world works.. But I think personally if you enforced your rules all year long, you would have LESS drama, LESS crying.. At the big show. And frankly.. It's not fair to the drivers to jump their sh!t at the big show for something they've done all year long, and if you caught it at the big show, to me that means you caught it at every other show but you let them slide.. I THOUGHT this lesson was learned last year. But apparently I was wrong.. The series is a good idea, I just think a few changes would make it easier on you running it.. You would have less drivers crying.. Sure they'd throw a fit when you turn them away at a derby, and sure you'd lose money (before anyone JUMPS up and says they have to pay first and don't get their money back if they get turned away...have you ever seen it happen that way?? I've seen a few turned away.. but they hadn't paid yet..)
but maybe just MAYBE people would learn how to build a car to the rules and not do stupid sh!t to them just to push the rules to the extent or futher in some cases. And everyone knows you was tougher on some guys this year, and not so much on others, I know for a FACT there was one car, that was called "illegal" even though they was told from the "horses mouth" that they could do exactly what they did, But because this person speaks his mind and don't kiss a$$ his derbying days have been made h3ll.. Kinda some b.s. imo..

Now on to "double teaming".... Aparently NO ONE knows what this is.... Is it one car holding another while another beats on it? Or is it when they GANG BANG the h3ll outta one car, in the corner and NO ONE says sh!t.. Oh wait I take that back.......... Someone tried to say something but was told to hush.. An official tried to make a call.. But b/c it was a call against a "team" that kisses a$$ it was waved off.. Now see. the mistake was.. they was called for double teaming in their heat, but in the feature when they gang banged the h3ll outta someone it was ok.... So how does that work? Anyone know? Any REAL derby drivers out there care to explain this? Cause i'm curious how u can be called for something one time and let go on something far worse.. Even some driver door shots wasn't even called when it was plain as day.. Slacking... I'm guessing.. And i'm only saying something about this, b/c I didn't think it was right, and normally i'd keep my mouth shut and let the drivers say what they want, But i wanted to speak for a few fans too. So i know i just totally wasted about 30 mins typing all this because no ones going to care, and the only reaction it's going to get is some p!ssy people.. And probably some people mad at me but like i said... I DON'T CARE anymore!!! 8)

One more thing.. The "maddog" award at paris.. getting someone in the big show.... the easy way is a BAD idea.. thats nothing but DRAMA right there, cause all these other drivers had to work for it, and then someones just going to get it for free.....I don't think so.. I know who was suppose to get it and he didnt.. And frankly i'm glad it worked out like it did with a driver who had already qualified, if it was me..... And i got it handed to me i wouldn't want it.. That only means you wasn't good enough to make it by yourself......and had to have help.... And yes Mike, i know.. you said you didn't have anything to do with this that it was fair boards idea.. Fine.. I'm just voicing my opinion on it.. Don't do it again.. Its not a good idea.. don't agree to do it.. Your the "big man" out there...Put your foot down.....simple..

And I do have respect for mike.. I would not want his job for anything in the world and i've told him this a million times. So anything i say.. Is not to offend him, or any of his officials.. but to let it be known what fans are saying and thinking, and drivers as well.. I'm sure the lil "team" dont agree with me. But frankly i don't care. So heres the opinions of some people on all this, use it to better things next year.. Thats all i'm saying.....

I would address the fact that people want pictures faster, but unless they've done it they don't know how hard it is to actually get all that in order. I do.. So I won't say anything about that. But.. It would be nice to have the right names next to the right people..lol..

I'm done.. I've said All i needed to say. And as nicely as I could.. Got any questions or problems, post em or message me. I check this site all the time..

oh p.s. i'll be paying attention if any of this is taking out on my boys this year.. (not technically by officials but other drivers) and no one has to agree with anything i said, even if you know me.. or we're friends or family.. voice your honest opinion on it.. Not gonna hurt my feelings anymore..

What rules have been changed for the "Big Show" that are different than what has been in force all year?

ALL CARS THAT HAVE QUALIFYED FOR THE NAPA CRASH FOR CASH
WE HAVE FENDERS,HOODS,TRUNKS,AND OTHER BODY PANELS DRILLED
AND CHECKED FOR ADDED METAL. THE FRAMES WILL BE CHECKED WITH BORE SCOPE . THIS IS TO INSURE THAT ALL CARS ARE EQUAL AND EVERONE HAS FAIR CHANCE TO WIN. NOT KNOWING OR HAVING
RULES, AND OR SAYING WE ALLOWED IT AT THE QUALIFYING SHOWS
IS NO EXCUSE. SO EVERONE NEEDS TO BUILD BY THE RULES .

okay, I agree with him on drilling holes and the bore scope 200%!!!! I think it's a great idea.. BUT i think it should be done all year long. So his officials are use to it and his drivers know what to expect. They done it at huntingdon and it was no big deal.. And i know of a lot of cars that got to run the reg derbies all year long, that would never make it in the big show. so thats why i said what i did about enforcing the same rules all year long, if you won't allow it in the big show, don't allow it at the reg derbies.

I agree with you on the drilling holes, that should be done at every derby, EVERY DERBY AND EVERY CAR. I think it is only fair.
